The sense of belonging to university is linked to numerous aspects of the psycho-social health of students. However, there are many ambiguities in the conceptualization and measurement of this construct. The few tools designed in the field of higher education largely assess the sense of belonging and the measurement of the components of belonging to the university has received less attention in previous studies. The current study aimed to develop and validate the "Students' Sense of Belonging to University Scale (SSBUS)." In a correlational and tool development design, 345 students of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad were selected in the first stage and 477 students of University of Birjand were selected in the second stage by available sampling method. The results of exploratory factor analysis in the first stage showed four factors with 49.72% variance explanation, which included the components of interaction with professors, interaction with peers, university climate and self-esteem. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the four-factor model had a good fit, and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the subscales was reported in the range of 0.75-0.90. In addition, other analyses provided evidence to support the internal consistency, convergent validity, and divergent validity of the sense of belonging scale. It was found that each of the dimensions of this scale was significantly related to the measures of commitment to the university, social-emotional loneliness, satisfaction with life, depression and agentic engagement. In addition, the results of the retest coefficient of the subscales were in the range of 0.64-0.74. According to the findings of the present research, the students' sense of belonging to university scale has desirable psychometric properties and can be used as a valid instrument.

The visuospatial development is one of the most important foundations of development, since it plays the role of the primary function of all learning and communication, and forms the mental representations of the outside world. On the other hand, this development simultaneously contains spatial information and directs all movements in space. Measurement of this development and its various dimensions is vital in the early years of life, since with this information we can estimate the visuospatial capacity of the child and examine the change of this basic capacity during life span. The aim of the present study was to provide psychometric properties for the visuospatial development questionnaire (Harry Wachs, 2014) for use in Iran. A questionnaire was filled out on 348 preschool children in Mashhad that were selected randomly by multistage stratified sampling method and psychometric indices were calculated using statistical software. The findings showed that the questionnaire had a satisfactory content and structure validity and also reliability. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis also showed that the structure of the questionnaire has an acceptable fit with the data. These factors were named in accordance with the main research, body awareness and sense; location of body in space; relation of object to self, other objects and people; conservation of space; Visual-logical reasoning; Representational thought; their coefficients of internal consistency were 0.83, 0.79, 0.67, 0.80, 0.72 and 0.61, respectively. These results show that the Visuopatial development Questionnaire can be used as a tool for measuring the concept of the visuospatial development in Iran.

Context: Emotions plays a major role in the educational environment so Scale to measure teachers emotions is noteworthy and significant subject. aim: The aim of this research is to examine Validity and Reliability of TEI in Mashhad. Method: The research method was descriptive-correlative. The required sample size was determined 023 based on Cochran formula, and participants were selected by random Cluster method. The Teacher Emotion Inventory (TEI) of Chen (2016), positive and negative affect scale (PANAS; Watson, Clark and Tellegen) (1988) were completed by participants at the same time. Primary teachers were selected by multi-stage random sampling. Teacher Emotion Inventory and positive and negative scale were tested. The reliability of TEI was confirmed by internal consistency (Cochran`s alpha). The validity was determined by content validity, convergent validity, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Findings: Results showed that alpha coefficient for total size was 0/88 and for subscales was from 0/74 to 0/88. The correlation coefficient between Teacher Emotion Inventory and PANAS for convergent validity was 0/41. The analysis of principle components with Varimax Rotation showed that eigenvalue of 5 factors are considerable which explains 62/49 percent of the total variance. The goodness of fit indexes was confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Conclusion: Hence, TEI has a good internal consistency and sufficient validity in the sample of Iranian teachers.

The development and foster of Research spirit is one of the formal education system goals that will bring change and innovation for students. The purpose of study was construction a tool for measuring student's Research spirit .The method of study was Descriptive (Survey- testing). For the first stage of study, dimensions of research spirit were identified by review of theoretical foundations of research spirit and developed items for pilot study. A sample of the 1425 girl students were selected by probability and non-probability Sampling (cluster-convenience sampling). The validity of questionnaire was studied by Content validity, professional judgment, Factor analysis and criterion validity and the reliability of questionnaire was calculated by test-re-test and internal consistency of Cronbach's alpha. Analysis of questions was determined by the correlation with scores of the scale and impact of the removal of questions on variance and reliability. Correlation of Convergent validity of the scale with Critical thinking orientation scale was 0/45 (sig ≤ 0.001). The result of factor analysis showed fourth factors: Perseverance, impulsive practice management, curious and the ability to perform team working. The reliability of scale by using test-retest after 15 days was 0.80 and the internal consistency with Cronbach's alpha was 0.81. Therefore, according to results of reliability and validity, the scale of Research spirit can be used by researchers as appropriate test.

Backgrounds: Post-event processing involves rumination about perceived inadequacy in a past social situation and has been proposed as an important maintaining factor in social phobia. Aims: This paper investigated the psychometric properties of Post Event Processing Questionnaire (PEPQ) in a student sample. Method: Participants were 460 people (280 female, 180 male) who answered the PEPQ, and 284 of the subjects (198 female and 86 male) completed four Social anxiety related questionnaires including SPAI, SAFE, LSAS-SR and SPS in addition to PEPQ. Also, fifty-five Social Phobic patients answered the PEPQ. The Pearson correlation, Independent sample t-test, Cronbach Alpha and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is used as the data analysis method. Results: The Pearson correlation between the PEPQ and the Criteria Scales and between the test and re-test PEPQ score was significant. The CFA replicated the one factor solution for the PEPQ. The Independent sample t-test showed significant difference in PEPQ score between social anxiety group and control group. Also, internal consistency of the PEPQ was acceptable. Comparing with people with self-perspective, participants with observer perspective had a higher score in PEPQ, state anxiety, SPAI, LSAS-SR, SAFE and SPS. Conclusion: Thereupon, it seems the PEPQ is a reliable instrument for assessment of the Post Event processing in Iranian population.

Many studies investigated Transformational Leadership (TL). Idealized Influence (II) is one of TL dimensions with relying it the followers respect leaders and trust him/her. This may cause instilling pride and attribute them. The purpose of this study was assessing II of principals in educational complexes in Saleh-abad city in 2011-12 academic year. Method of the research was survey. Statistic society was 541 teachers of primary and junior secondary schools. The sample was 226 people selected by a proportional sampling. For assessing II a researcher-made scale was developed, and its validity was approved by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The results indicated the correlation II a researcher-made scale and II scale of Athari 0/88 (p < 0/05), and their relationship was significant in 0/001 level. Exploratory factor analysis divided II in four components of role modeling, insight and perspective, respect, and ethical values. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis showed that, measures of indicators, GFI: 0/68, NNFI: 0/98, CFI: 0/98, AGFI: 0/64, NFI: 0/97, RMSEA: 0/09, are achieved. Chronbach Alpha confirmed the reliability of the scale for 0/97. The results indicated that the Mean of principals II was higher than the proposed average and the II of principals was in a desirable level. Measures of t-test showed that the difference between the mean and the proposed average was significant in 0/001 level.
